We survived the bike trip down the 10,000+ foot Mt. Haleakala, the world's largest dormant volcano, on Maui. This picture was taken by our guide about halfway down. We started out, at the top, in snow, which changed to rain at about the 9,000 foot level. It had just stopped raining and cleared up when this picture was taken. The view, behind us, was breathtaking. |
